South African songstress, Bulelwa Mtukukana, better known as Zahara has died. The Loliwe hitmaker had been hospitalised for several days. Last week, her family said she was unresponsive in hospital. Condolence messages are trickling in on different social media platforms.

Family suspected Zahara was bewitched

Last week, reports claimed that the sunger’s family suspected that she had been bewitched. Some claimed that someone had spiked her drink with muthi.

The singer rose to fame with her debut album, Loliwe, in 2011. In under a fortnight, the album had sold platinum and it went on to sell double platinum in 17 short days. So huge was the album that it earned her a staggering eight awards in the 2012 South African Music Awards.
